Situated to the North-West of Montalcino, the SassodiSole estate is in the middle of the hilly Tuscan countryside.
It is spread out on a surface of 45 hectares with vineyards, olive groves, arable land and woods. The vineyards entirely planted with the autochthonous Sangiovese variety, are situated at an altitude between 280 and 320 metresa.s.l.
The cellar, in the middle of the estate, is a perfect example of the Terzuoli family’s aspiration to the right marriage of innovation and respect for Montalcino’s wine tradition. With the result that the technological progress of the new millennium goes hand in hand with a careful manual selection of the grapes and an aging process in barrels of Slavonian oak.
