Fattoria dei Barbi

Fattoria dei Barbi is one of the historical estate in Montalcino. For centuries the Colombini family worked with love and passion the land, cultivating, cereals and grapes, from which they made the world wide famous Brunello di Montalcino. The wine cellar with its 300 wooden barrels and thousands of aging bottles of Brunello, is open to the public for over than 50 years, in which you can still admire the collection of bottles from 1870 to the nowadays, testimony of a continuity that makes unique our beautiful country. 

The Colombini’s philosophy is to know and to study the brand new technologies and to marry them with the old traditions, in terms to improve the typical wine production.
