A honey made from chestnut flowers, collected between June and October.
Characterized by its intense ambercolor, varying from strong red to dark amber, a very strong floral and dramatic aroma, and a complex flavor with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
Its particular characteristics make it ideal for tasting, more so thansweetening.
Properties: soothing, energizing, hydrating, anti-spasmodic, it helps blood circulation, it is anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, and is a source of protein, vitamins B and C, and mineralsalts.
Combinations: Perfect to taste with agedcheeses, ricotta and meats.
Conservation: Conserve far from directsunlight and sources of heat, in a cool dry place, avoiding major changes in temperature.
